The history of the T84 gearbox<\/strong> is above all that of a passion for mechanics and authenticity, born of an observation shared by all enthusiasts of vintage Jeeps: the famous “jumping” second gear.<\/p>

This “Achilles’ heel” of the original boxes prompted Alfred Barb\u00e9<\/strong>, a talented mechanic with a passion for historic vehicles, to find a lasting, reliable solution.<\/p>

It was in a B\u00e9arn<\/strong> garage in 1993 that the T84 box was born.<\/p>

Here, Alfred Barb\u00e9<\/strong> develops a revolutionary high-strength steel sprocket kit, specially designed to eliminate this defect while respecting the original specifications of Jeep Willys MB and Ford GPW.<\/p>
